The treatment of these affections begins in every dental office through a professional teeth-brushing and through a meticulous dental clearance. No matter how complex the treatment might be, this is compromised if the patient does not brush his teeth correctly and if he does not use the supplementary means for oral hygiene: dental floss, interdental brush, mouthwash or oral irrigators (foto 3).
